Gal Meets Glam Collection
Gal Meets Glam Collection is a line of modern dresses that pushes past trendy to celebrate classic sophistication, effortless elegance and feminine details. Defined by its signature whimsy and romance, Gal Meets Glam Collection presented an exciting challenge, and lucky for me, I’ve had the opportunity to work on the brand since the very beginning!
I first met Julia Engel, founder and super influencer, and Thomas Berolzheimer, her husband/business partner, in the summer of 2017. From there, it was a year of nonstop branding work, language development, marketing strategy, and asset creation until our much-anticipated launch in the spring of 2018.
My piece of the puzzle
Working with a startup means I get to wear lots of hats. On a day-to-day basis, you can find me
Writing copy, selecting images, and determining layout for our seven weekly marketing emails
Directing one of our quarterly product photoshoots and leading my team in post-production
Guiding my team in the organization and production of our monthly collection lookbooks
Leading important branding opportunities via brand decks, retailer releases, and packaging materials

That’s why when we were designing our July Collection, we made sure to include lots of magical little moments. Take a peek at five sweeping skirts I can’t stop thinking about.

The Bethany
The Bethany dress is my favorite twirl moment from our July Collection. With perfectly placed pleats and an elegant, airy design, this sweeping skirt delivers the perfect dose of whimsy before falling gracefully back over your frame. I love the shimmery satin finish for an extra touch of glamour!
The Kaye
Summer was made for lightweight crepe and garden hues. With darling details and an easy, playful design, our Kaye dress will have you craving a little afternoon adventure.

To me, there’s nothing more exciting than sweet, subtle details—and that’s why our Beth dress is so special to me. An elegant scoop back and cascading skirt pop against covered arms and a classic high neckline.
